Opening of Royal Norwegian Honorary Consulate in Kobe

最終更新日: 29.04.2015 // On 7 April 2015 Mr. Norbert Kray was officially appointed as Norwegian Honorary Consul-General in Kobe, and the Honorary Consulate opened its doors on 23 April 2015.

Mr. Kray is a German national and recently started a position at the international company DNV-GL’s Kobe office as Country Manager for Japan. He is the successor of the previous Honorary Consul-General in Kobe, Mr Tutturen, and the new Consulate-General is located in the same offices as before.

DNV-GL is the result of a merger between major Norwegian classification company DNV and the German company Germanischer Loyd in September 2013. DNV-GL is now a leading actor within ship and offshore classification, advisor to the global oil and gas industry, expert for the energy value chain including renewable energy. The company is one of Norway’s greatest exports, and in his new role as Norwegian Consul-General we believe that Mr. Kray will be able to reflect Norwegian values.
